The U.S. Egg restaurant in Tempe is temporarily closed after an electrical fire caused significant damage, a release stated.
No one was injured, but the timeline for reopening is uncertain as the extent of the damage is being assessed.
The Tempe location is at Mill Avenue and Baseline Road.
“Our number one priority has always been the safety of our team and our guests,” George Gebran, owner of U.S. Egg, said.
“While it’s heartbreaking to see our Tempe location in this condition, we are extremely grateful that no one was hurt, and we thank the community for their support during this challenging time.”
U.S. Egg is offering staff members from the Tempe location the option to transfer to other U.S. Egg restaurants in the Valley, which include Scottdale, Phoenix and Chandler.
