Wilde Wealth Management Group, announced Jonathan P. Fagan has joined the firm as an investment professional.

In his role, Fagan will focus on helping clients be prepared for critical financial events in their lives such as retirement, strategic investing and caring for future generations, according to a press release.

He will also offer risk assessments and will work from the firm’s Scottsdale headquarter office, 7025 N. Scottsdale Road.

Fagan is an industry veteran, joining Northwestern Mutual’s team in Newport Beach, California in 1999 where he reached the Million Dollar Round Table in his first year and continued to do so in subsequent years until joining the organization’s leadership team as chief development officer in 2008.

Fagan would remain in that executive role until 2012 when he relocated to Phoenix to serve as the managing director of the organization’s Southwest team, according to the release.

In 2015, Fagan moved into his personal practice while taking on community leadership roles across the Valley.

Notably, he is a past advisory board member for Notre Dame Preparatory and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, where he and his family have been parishioners since planting roots in Arizona. He is a past president of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and has coached of his three sons across several youth sports.

For many years, Fagan has been active with the Scottsdale Cal Ripken, a volunteer-led recreational nonprofit baseball league serving north Phoenix and Scottsdale youth. He has served as president since 2019.

“When I met Wilde Wealth founder Trevor Wilde, I immediately knew I had found a like-minded colleague and friend,” Fagan said in the release. “Both involved husbands and fathers focused on helping people through investing as well as community leadership roles. I moved over to Wilde to join Trevor and plan to finish my career with him.”

Fagan joining the team caps what company officials said was a success year that saw the launch of Wilde Wealth Insurance, the opening of offices in Sedona and Florida, according to the release.

Trevor Wilde was named to Barron’s annual list of top 1,200 advisors nationwide and No. 1 overall in Arizona. This is Wilde’s 15th consecutive year being honored and his fifth year in a row among the top five advisors in Arizona. It also marks Wilde’s second time being named to the No. 1 position.

He was also named to Forbes’ 2023 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list. Only 150 advisers from across Arizona were named to the list, with Wilde being named the No. 2 overall adviser statewide. This is his third year in a row earning the No. 2 overall ranking.
