DVUSD Board to meet

Recognitions are in order at the Deer Valley Unified School District Governing Board meeting, 7 p.m., April 11, 20402 N. 15th Ave.

The Board will recognize the following students: Wyatt Duncan, Melanie Lee, Zachary Montano, Cody Wood and Lane Wood of  Paseo Hills Student Government as the 2016 Recycle-Bowl State champions; Brandon Roberts, of Mountain Ridge High School as the Marketing Communications State DECA champion and Akshay Ravi, Vivek Ravi and Nithin Ravi of Mountain Ridge High School as the International Business Plan State DECA champion team.

The Board also will hear an update of the fiscal year 2018 budget and is scheduled to approve the 2017-18 certified performance pay plan.
