Delta Dental of Arizona in Glendale adds to leadership team

JoLou Trujillo-Ottino is the new Senior VP of Business Development

JoLou Trujillo-Ottino has joined Delta Dental of Arizona’s leadership team as its senior vice president of sales and business development.

In her role, Trujillo-Ottino will identify and implement strategic business development opportunities as well as provide directional oversight of the sales and group services teams.

Delta Dental of Arizona has a corporate center at 5656 W. Talavi Blvd., in Glendale.

Trujillo-Ottino is relocating to Phoenix from Albuquerque, where she served as a key member of Delta Dental of New Mexico’s leadership team since 2016. She has served on several community and civic boards, including the American Heart Association of New Mexico, Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance, Special Olympics of New Mexico, and State of New Mexico Commission on Higher Education.

Trujillo-Ottino earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and Latin American studies from the University of New Mexico and has completed a series of programs within the Harvard Business School Executive Education curriculum, including Healthcare Economics, Financial Accounting, Economics for Managers, Business Analytics and Building and Sustaining Competitive Advantage.

Trujillo-Ottino’s first day is Monday, June 20.
