For the 15th year in a row, the Arizona Diamondbacks have the lowest prices in Major League Baseball.
That’s according to the Team Marketing Report, which shows a fan cost index of $170.09 per family for a Diamondbacks game. The report, compiled annually since 1991, shows the cost for a family of four to attend a ballgame in person, using the price of four average non-premium tickets and the lowest pricing for four sodas, four hot dogs, two beers, two souvenirs (hats), and parking.
The total cost for a family of four at a D-backs game sits nearly $100 below the overall MLB Fan Cost Index average of $266.58.
The Diamondbacks’ average ticket price of $24.47 for the 2023 season ranked second lowest among all Major League clubs. The D-backs are nearly $13 below the MLB average ticket price of $37 in 2023.
Value items, including a $2.99 soda, $2.99 hot dog or corn dog, $2.99 popcorn and a $4.99 14-ounce beer, are available every home game at Doubleheaders concessions at Chase Field.
The Team Shop has value items including a $9.99 hat and a $2.99 pin.
The D-backs also offer affordable ticket packages including Summer Pass, which provides fans with tickets to 37 games between June and August for $99; and Kids Free Weekend, allowing adults to get up to two free kids tickets with the purchase of one paid adult ticket.
