Coyotes to host Hispanic Heritage kickoff event in Phoenix

The Arizona Coyotes Foundation, in partnership with Dignity Health, will host a Hispanic Heritage Kickoff event Friday in Phoenix.

To celebrate the beginning of Hispanic Heritage month, which goes from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, the event starts at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 at Dignity Health–Cancer Institute, at 625 N. 6th St.

Coyotes President and CEO Xavier Gutierrez and defenseman J.J. Moser will be interacting with fans throughout the night as guests enjoy mariachi, Mexican cuisine, and an art exhibit by Xico. Fans in attendance will also be able to take a slapshot to win Coyotes prizes.

The Arizona Coyotes Foundation supports organizations and programs that promote access to education, health and wellness and economic advancement for underserved and diverse communities.
