I am concerned about Proposition 139, Arizona’s abortion proposition.
It doesn’t say that the abortion must be performed by a licensed medical doctor, it says medical professional ― which includes dentists, psychologists, etc.
Is that who you would want performing an abortion on your loved one ― a dentist or psychologist, etc., someone not trained in preforming abortions? That sounds like a step backward to the back-alley butchers who performed abortions in the past.
Who wrote this proposition? Arizona already has an abortion law on the books.
Let’s not muddy the waters. Vote “NO” on Prop 139.
