Rosendin and 77 other construction companies will host AZ Construction Career Days, presented by the Association for Construction Career Development.

This event aims to introduce high school students to potential career paths by showcasing new technologies and tools. A press release notes that a time when the construction industry is facing a shortage of skilled workers and increased local training opportunities are emerging, this event represents a promising initiative that challenges outdated industry perceptions.

It takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both Wednesday, Nov. 1 and Thursday, Nov. 2 at the Arizona National Guard, Papago Site, 5636 E. McDowell Road, in Phoenix. Students arrive at 8 a.m. both days.

Rosendin, headquartered in San Jose and one of the largest electrical contractors in the U.S., will provide students with hands-on construction experience, including computer modeling and augmented reality demonstrations. Also, practical activities will be offered that teach essential skills such as basic electrical wiring, tube fabrication, and conduit pipe bending.

For more than 20 years, AZ Construction Career Days has promoted career opportunities in the construction industry to thousands of Arizona students across the Valley.
