Construction begins Aug. 28 on Falcon Field Airport drainage improvements in Mesa

Posted

The city of Mesa is scheduled to begin construction on Monday, Aug. 28, on storm-water drainage improvements to allow for aeronautical development on Falcon Field Airport Parcel 36, 4731 E. Falcon Drive, to tie into the air-operations area.

During construction, the taxi lane on the west side of hangar buildings NN and OO will be closed to aircraft traffic, according to a release.

Only motorized vehicles will be able to travel on the west taxi lane between Gates 4 and 5 to hangar building PP. All aircraft accessing hangar buildings NN and OO will have one way in and out to the east via taxi lane B9.

Unanticipated weather or technical issues could affect the project schedule.
