Sun City church features sacred concert

Posted

The Congregational Church of Sun City, 18401 N. 99th Ave., is hosting the Sounds of the Southwest Singers in a 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, concert.

This community choir will perform a sacred sounds themed repertoire during the event, which is free and open to the public. There will be an opportunity for giving benefiting both the Congregational Church and Sounds of the Southwest Singers. Donations are tax-deductible and never required, but always welcome.

The Sounds of the Southwest Singers is under the direction of founding director Matt Deller. The group has more than 100 volunteer voices and 2023 marks their 13th year of performing in the greater Sun City area. No two concerts are exactly alike and there will be several opportunities for audience participation.

Contact the church office for more information, 623-977-4241 or admin@ccscaz.org, or visit ccscaz.org orsoundsofthesouthwestsingers.com.

Founded in 1976, The Congregational Church of Sun City aims to provide opportunities for worship, education and spiritual development within the framework of faith, freedom and fellowship.
