An open house event celebrating Christmas is returning to Goodyear.
“Experience A Contemplative Christmas … Through Trees” will go from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at Palm Valley Community Center, 14145 W. Palm Valley Blvd.
Guests receive a program and then take a leisurely self-tour of 25 themed, decorated Christmas trees designed to inspire reflection and contemplation telling the story of God from Genesis to Revelation, accompanied by Christmas carols in the background.
This is a community event coordinated since 2018 by Rosella and Jim Reggin. The event was inspired by several biblical scriptures that mention trees.
