A Pinal County man has been arrested in Florence for allegedly downloading child pornography.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office announced that 53-year-old Troy Hollaway was arrested during a traffic stop on Jan. 25 in Florence near West Merrill Ranch Parkway and North Anthem Way and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
In a Facebook video, Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb stated that a search warrant was served at Hollaway’s home the same morning of his arrest.
“During the interview with our detectives, Mr. Holloway admitted that he has been downloading and uploading these child sexual abuse material files for the last 10 years,” Lamb stated in the video.
PCSO was only recently informed that Hollaway lived in Pinal County, according to Lamb.
