Thanks to generous contributions from community partners and families, as well as the efforts of dedicated educators and volunteers, the Chandler Education Foundation has raised almost $300,000 over the past two months in support of the Chandler Unified School District.
CEF, an independent nonprofit organization, raised money through its annual Cash for Classrooms campaign in August and a golf tournament fundraiser in September to purchase classroom resources, scholarships, crisis assistance, teacher training and more.
Funds will also support the record-breaking 150 grant applications CEF received from teachers for initiatives.
