Chandler Chamber luncheon will focus on workforce housing, downtown projects

The Chandler Chamber will host an economic update luncheon about the status of workforce housing, commercial re-development, and new downtown projects.

The presentation is entitled The Ever-Changing Landscape of the Real Estate Market.

“Chandler continues to grow and be a leader in economic development around the Valley,” Terri Kimble, Chandler Chamber of Commerce president & CEO, shared in a press release. “This luncheon is a testament to our commitment to drive Chandler’s economic landscape forward.”

The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24 at SoHo63, 63 E. Boston St., Chandler.

The public is encouraged to attend. RSVPs are required here.

Guests will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions to industry experts including:

  • Liz Recchia, West & Southeast Realtors of the Valley (WeServ) representing about 25,000 agents, will provide an update on the workforce housing market.
  • Sam Kapur, Arizona Elite Commercial, will present about the status of commercial re-development especially with regards to vacant office buildings post-pandemic.
  • Lauren Koll, city of Chandler, will speak about a new project coming to Downtown Chandler.

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce represents more than 1,700 businesses with over 175,000 employees.
