The city of Litchfield Park announced CenturyLink will discontinue its Prism Internet Protocol Television service to city residents on March 31.

“Although this particular service will no longer be available within the city of Litchfield Park, CenturyLink will continue to provide internet and phone service to its residents,” Interim City Manager Matthew William stated in a release.

“No infrastructure will be removed due to the discontinuation of this service,” Mr. Williams stated. “CenturyLink will work with each subscriber to receive and return any customer premise equipment and explore current alternative video options.”

Residents should receive a 90-day notice regarding the termination of service, he said.
