The opening of the historic Castle Hot Springs Resort has been  pushed back due to a heavy monsoon season this year.

Spokesman Steven Sampson said the opening is now planned for New Year’s Eve.

It was initially planned for October.

“Castle Hot Springs is nearing completion, but the monsoon storm of July 6 set back the opening due to clean up and construction,” he said.

  • Castle Hot Springs Brewery will be completed summer 2019, but 16 kegs will be ready for the opening, and water from the springs will be used to brew Lithium Lager, which will also be served at other Westroc properties, including Sanctuary Camelback, Mountain Shadows, Hotel Valley Ho.
  • The resort will offer an array of spa services and various daily wellness activities.
