Buckeye has appointed Scott Gray as its new aviation director.
With more than 30 years of experience in airport management, administration, development and planning, Gray is a seasoned professional who has successfully managed some of the busiest airports in the country, according to a city press release.
Gray comes to Buckeye having spent the last six years at Denton Enterprise Airport in Texas where, as aviation director, he managed the day-to-day operations, planning and development of the seventh busiest airport in Texas and 89th busiest in the nation.
Prior to his Texas tenure, Gray served as aviation director for the Washington County Airport in Pennsylvania and the Scottsdale Airport where he oversaw the busiest corporate jet airport in Arizona.
"I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to contribute my experience and expertise to the Buckeye Municipal Airport,” Gray shared in a press release. “I am committed to enhancing the airport's operations and working to ensure that it grows into a vital economic hub for the community.”
Gray officially assumes his role as Buckeye's aviation director on Monday, Nov. 13.
