Special to Independent Newsmedia
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all Buckeye city offices, libraries and facilities are closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24.
City libraries will also close Saturday, Nov. 25.
In addition, there is no trash or recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day. Thursday’s service moves to Friday, and Friday’s service moves to Saturday. Please have containers on the street by 5 a.m. on your collection day.
A couple reminders while preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday:
Never pour grease down the drain since it can clog sewer lines
You can drop off used cooking oil at Public Works by calling 623-349-6802
