No major closures for ongoing improvement projects are scheduled along Phoenix-area freeways this weekend, but lighting work will affect an HOV ramp for 10 hours beginning Friday night, state transportation officials said.
The westbound US 60 HOV lane ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, to 7 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, for freeway lighting work, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Drivers can use the primary ramp connecting the two freeways, ADOT officials said.
Work zones remain in place for the I-10 Broadway Curve improvement project in the Phoenix area.
Drivers also should use caution within the I-17 widening project underway between Anthem and Sunset Point, according to ADOT.
