Bids sought for Superstition Vistas work in south Apache Junction

Sealed bids will be received until 1:30 p.m. June 28 for phase 2A Radiance and Davis paving, sewer, water, roadway and streetlight plans in a Superstition Vistas housing subdivision in south Apache Junction, according to a public notice.

All sealed bids are to be mailed and received by — or hand delivered to — Mike LoTempio, 1130 Alma School Road Suite No. 120 in Mesa.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the EPS Group office at the same address.

The project is generally on Davis between Radiance Drive and Warner Road in the city of Apache Junction.

Technical questions regarding the project may be submitted in writing by email to mike.lotempio@epsgroupinc.com until 5 p.m. June 21.

Bids must be accompanied by the bid bond for not less than 10% of the total bid, payable to D.R. Horton Inc. or a certified or cashier’s check.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Successful bidder will also name D. R. Horton Inc. as obligee on both the payment and performance bonds and name the city of Apache Junction and Arizona State Land Department as additional obligees on the performance bond, it states.
