Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour is coming to State Farm Stadium: Traffic tips and more

Posted

Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour will stop at the State Farm Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 24.

The Westgate Entertainment District area will likely become congested due to Beyoncé fan turnout.

She last preformed in the valley in 2018 with her Run II Tour with her husband Jay-Z.

"Beyonce’s concert, and other mega-events, which draw 70,000 people to State Farm Stadium have a very positive impact on the local economy. The Westgate area brings concertgoers in early and businesses in the area always report very busy days when events are happening," said Kevin Phelps, Glendale’s City Manager.

Phelps noted that nearby businesses also gain a boost from mega-events with themed specials.

Tickets are available online with price ranges from $50-$4,950, according to Ticketmaster.

  • Those attending should know these times:
    • Parking lots open at 4:30 p.m.
    • VIP Early Access begins at 5 p.m.
    • All Doors Open at 5:30 p.m.
    • Concert starts at 8 p.m. with no opening act.
    • Parking will be available Westgate Entertainment District for $30 per vehicle.
    • A drop-off point for ride-share services is available on Cardinals Way between 91st and 95th avenues.

Heavy traffic is expected to start two to three hours before doors open.
