Bake, craft sale to support Peoria Reading for the Blind nonprofit

Volunteers who operate Recorded Recreational Reading for the Blind are hosting a fundraising craft and bake sale in Glendale.

All proceeds benefit the nonprofit’s mission of providing weekly audio news material for the vision-impaired community.

The event goes from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 in the multipurpose room of Glendale Christian Church, 9661 N. 59th Ave.

Residents can meet volunteers, learn about the organization, and buy home-baked goods and hand-crafted craft items.

Recorded Recreational Reading for the Blind is a 50+-year old nonprofit based in a recording studio at 9447 N. 99th Ave., in Peoria.
