Bailey has medical supplies needed

Posted

Name: Maddison Bailey.

Age (optional): 32.

Business name: Easy Medical Supply, consultations available seven days per week.

Town/neighborhood: North Phoenix.

Personal background highlights: Originally, I am from the Midwest but have been lucky enough to be able to relocate to sunny Arizona! I am the mother of a wonderful little girl who was born prematurely and inspired me to write a children’s book about our experience in the NICU.

Professional background highlights: With eight-plus years in the durable medical equipment industry, I have worked as a customer service representative, showroom manager and as a marketer with a few wonderful companies across the nation.

What I do: I own a durable medical equipment company that takes a consultative approach by providing personal and experienced guidance when purchasing durable medical equipment.

What I like most about doing business here: The people I meet! I get to meet and hear from people who have lived all around the country and am able to learn so much from such a diverse group of people.

Changes I’d like to see in this area: In general, I would like to see safer streets for our children.

What am I promoting: I am promoting my new business where I provide guided decision making for people who need durable medical assistance to live their best lives!

What I’m excited about and why: I am excited to be able to try and change the industry that I am in by creating a new view of durable medical equipment. There is wonderful equipment available for seniors and those who need durable medical equipment.

Favorite community cause and why: I can’t pick a favorite community! I have been immersed in several communities while working in marketing and the common denominator is that there are great people from each community willing and ready to help!

When and why I started my business/employment here: I started Easy Medical Supply this year because I wanted to create a company that was driven to take a look at a customer in a comprehensive manner and help them in all aspects of their lives, not just sell them what they came in for. The best saying is, “You don’t know what you don’t know,” and I want to make sure you know all of your options.

Where I was before and why I left: I have been with a few DME companies throughout my years in the industry and decided I wanted to create something that was more personal and distinct than any of the places I have worked before.

My family: I have a wonderful little family! My boyfriend is an entrepreneur as well and we have a little girl who is so smart and loves to play with our two dogs!

My interests and hobbies: Food and travel! I love trying new dishes, especially when they are some place new and exciting!

People who inspire me (and how): My father is my biggest inspiration. He has overcome some hardships and paved his own path in life leaving behind a respected name and reputation.

My guiding philosophy: I live by the concept that everything happens for a reason, even though it may not be clear right now, give it time because you will understand.

My advice to today’s youth: Always have a desire to learn more, whether it is a subject in school, new skill or personal development, always strive to learn more.
