After a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Arizona Strong Beer Festival will return at a new location Saturday, Feb. 19. The event will take place 1-4:30 p.m. at Bell Bank Park, 1 Legacy Drive — Ellsworth and Pecos Roads — in Mesa.

Nearly 10,000 attendees are expected to raise a glass to the return of live beer events at the 21st annual event, according to a release.

“We can’t wait to get back to beer fests,” Rob Fullmer, executive director of the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, said in the release. “It’s been a long two years for everyone and we are thrilled to be hosting the Arizona Strong Beer Festival at a new, state of the art location.”

Ticket holders will receive a commemorative tasting cup and 30 two-ounce drink tickets. Craft brews from more than 100 different breweries from Arizona and across the country will be on tap to sample during the event.

Arizona Strong Beer Festival is one of hundreds of events planned throughout the state in celebration of the 11th Annual Arizona Beer Week, which runs Feb. 17-27.

General Admission tickets start at $60. A limited number of VIP tickets that provide entry to the event 90 minutes early, at 11:30 a.m., are available for $80. VIP tickets also include Friday wristband pickup with Saturday express entry, a food voucher, access to a VIP area with a private restroom, and a special edition swag item.
