Arizona Craft Beer Awards Festival on its way to Tempe

Celebrate all things Arizona brew in October

The 3rd Annual AZ Craft Beer Awards is coming to the East Valley.

Phoenix magazine, in partnership with the Arizona Craft Brewer’s Guild, is presenting the event to recognize the best in Arizona brewing. The AZ Craft Beer Awards & Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 19 at Centerpoint Plaza on Mill, 660 S. Mill Ave., in Tempe.

General admission is $45 until Aug. 31 and will go up to $50 until Oct. 18, then to $55 up to the start of the event. That includes entry at 1 p.m., 15 drink tickets (4 ounces of beer per ticket), and a commemorative sample cup. General admission features a designated driver ticket that excludes drink tickets and commemorative cup.

VIP admission is $60 until Aug. 31, will be $65 until Oct. 18, and then $70 up to the start of the event. VIP admission includes entry at noon, 20 drink tickets, and a commemorative sample cup. A VIP-only wristband pick-up will be the night before the event to allow those guests to skip the lines.

Participating breweries so far include Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company, Bone Haus Brewing, College Street Brewhouse, Desert Monks Brewing Company, Front Porch Brewing, Grand Avenue Brewing, Greenwood Brewing, Huss Brewing Company, Mother Road Brewing Company, Mudshark Brewing, Old Ellsworth Brewing Company, Pedal Haus Brewery, PHX Beer Company, The Perch Brewery, The Shop Beer Company, and Walter Station Brewery.

No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to enter the event. Last call will be at 4:30 p.m.
