Arizona at 17,914 deaths of COVID-19

Arizona has added 475 cases and 11 deaths of COVID-19 overnight, according to the state Department of Health Services.

As of the morning of Saturday, June 26, the ADHS reports 892,711 positive cases and 17,914 deaths of the coronavirus.

  • Maricopa County: 10,269
  • Mohave County: 750
  • Navajo County: 552
  • Pima County: 2,424
  • Pinal County: 904
  • Santa Cruz County: 180
  • Yavapai County: 527
  • Yuma County: 848

For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. But for some — especially older adults and people with existing health problems — it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia, and death.
