Camp Invention, a nation nonprofit summer enrichment camp program, recently announced it has received a $10,000 grant from Insight Enterprises, Inc. on behalf of Insight’s clients and Palo Alto, California-based VMware, Inc., an Insight partner.

As part of the grant, 75 students will have the opportunity to attend Camp Invention this summer through full and partial scholarships at program locations in Navajo Nation, Mesa, Lake Havasu, Chandler and Avondale.

The grant was announced on during a client executive briefing at Insight’s global headquarters in Chandler.
A program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame in partnership with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Camp Invention challenges children in grades K-6 to tap into their natural curiosity and use their creativity to solve problems.

Through hands-on activities, Camp Invention promotes STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) learning, builds confidence, leadership, perseverance and resourcefulness; and encourages entrepreneurship.
