The city of Apache Junction has updated its pool information based on staffing for the season.

Open swim hours beginning May 28 at Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center, 1091 W. Southern Ave., are:

• 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Thursdays;
• 1:30-5:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and
• 1:30-7:30 p.m. Sundays.

Special hours for Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, are 1:30-5:30 p.m.

The fee is $2 for youth ages 17 and under and $3 for adults, 18 and older.

The parks and recreation department has been recruiting lifeguards and swim instructors since January and positions are still open.

The department will add additional dates/hours to the schedule as it fills staffing goals.
