The city of Mesa is seeking votes and comments on three choices on what to name its new library in Eastmark: Flatiron, Mesa Gateway or Signal Butte.

The new full-functioning library in The Great Park at 5036 S. Eastmark Parkway in Mesa will provide services to residents of all ages with an emphasis on a modern library feel and the use of technology to streamline services, according to a release.

The approximately $16.8 million project is funded by the 2018 bond election for arts and culture. Design is underway and construction is anticipated to take place Fall 2023-Spring 2025.
