The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships presented by Talking Stick Resort returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The lineup includes polo teams from Texas, Wales, New Orleans, Aspen Valley and Arizona as well as the PRIDE USA, USA Women’s All-Star team, according to a press release.

With gates opening at 9:45 a.m., the day will begin with a matchup at 10 a.m.

The Texas Polo Club - Garland - will take on PRIDE USA. Among PRIDE’s celebrity players is actor Sterling Jones as seen in “Grey’s Anatomy,” the “Barbie” movie and “NCIS.”

The second match of the day, starting at 12:15 p.m., features a battle of the sexes as the state’s top polo team, the Arizona Polo Club, sponsored by Lamborghini, takes on the USA’s Women’s All-Star team. Top Arizona players Diego Florez and Andres Camacho-Castillo will lead the men, while Danielle Travis, Natalie Grancharov-Castillo and Carolyn Likas will compete for the ladies.

In the signature match of the day, the undefeated Bentley, Scottsdale’s Aspen Valley Polo Team, will go head-to-head against the Wales Polo Team from Great Britain in what is expected to showcase the best polo of the afternoon. That match starts 2:30 p.m.

Leading Aspen is USA’s top player, eight-goaler Nic Roldan alongside teammates three-goal champion Grant Ganzi and patron Melissa Ganzi.

In the final match-up, starting at 4 p.m., the North Scottsdale Polo Club, led by Arizona polo player Josh Black, is expected to deliver an outstanding match against the New Orleans Polo Club.

The afternoon of polo will be surrounded by non-stop events, including on-site activations and a sunset concert and party.

Brand new for 2023 are an expanded wine tasting experience, new charitable partners and elements, and a polo debut by acclaimed Scottsdale steakhouse Maple & Ash. There will also be the first-ever Event & Fall Fashion Showcase in-store on Sept. 30th at Neiman Marcus by invitation only.
