The Scottsdale Gallery Association looks forward to hosting its annual Western Week themed Gold Palette ArtWalk from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 3, throughout the Scottsdale Arts District.
Happening along Main Street from Scottsdale Road to Goldwater Boulevard and north of Indian School on Marshall Way to 5th Avenue, according to a press release, the homage to the area’s rich Western roots and culture is part of the city of Scottsdale’s Western Week.
The Western Week themed Gold Palette ArtWalk highlights local and nationally acclaimed Western artists and features live entertainment designed to help guests “kick up their heels in the spirit of Scottsdale’s cowboy, Western and American Indian roots,” the release said.
“Western Week is always filled with cultural events and experiences that educate our residents and visitors alike about Scottsdale’s history,” says Scottsdale Gallery Association President French Thompson in the release. “We see Western Week as an opportunity to showcase the incredible local and national art representation and talent that exists right here in the heart of Old Town.”
During the event, art lovers can stroll the Scottsdale Arts District to enjoy live country music from the Desert Dixie band, the release said, adding line dancing and individual western themed exhibitions and experiences within participating galleries also available.
