Pinnacle Brewing Company in Scottsdale recently announced its line-up of classic European and American beers to be offered on the grand opening celebration Friday, May 3.

The initial beers for the grand opening include:

  • Borealis: New England Hazy IPA
  • Cathedral: German Kolsch
  • Camino: Mexican Cerveza Lager
  • Coast Game: West Coast IPA
  • Grodzuation Day: Groziskie Polish Smoked Lager
  • Haydenweisse: German Hefeweizen
  • Illumination: Munich Helles
  • Rupert’s Tower: English ESB
  • Valleybock: German Maibock (Hellesbock).

The 4,300-square-foot brewery and taproom located at the Corner Center Square on North Hayden Road features sight lines into the brewery, ten televisions and glass garage doors that open onto a covered outdoor patio for those seeking a beer garden experience.

“I think that these initial set of beers are representative of what we will become,” said Pinnacle Brewmaster Wyatt Wilson, “Which is a craft brewery that features my interpretation of classic styles.

“For example, Grodzuation Day is a Groziskie, a beer that is rarely seen outside of Poland. I cut the amount of smoked malt in half to make the beer more approachable to uninitiated palates. I’m pleased with the result – a lighter lager that has pleasant complexity. I picture this being enjoyed in our biergarten on the warm days ahead.”

The grand opening celebration will feature live music by Todd Owens, free special edition t-shirts for the first 200 customers, a mobile pizza oven by Craft Woodfired Pizza and a raffle of Arizona Diamondback tickets.

The doors open at 12 noon.

Pinnacle Brewing Company is a family business led by Brewmaster Wyatt Wilson. The North Scottsdale location is a glass, steel and wood construction, evoking a modern mountain lodge atmosphere, reflecting Wilson’s experiences in Alberta, Canada, Oregon, Northern Colorado and now Arizona.
