New Scottsdale Community Bank holds grand opening May 18
First Community Bank in Arizona to launch in more than 14 years
Posted
Scottsdale Community Bank, the first new community bank in Arizona in more than 14 years, will hold a grand opening ceremony for its investors and special guests on May 18, including Scottsdale Mayor David Ortega.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the State of Arizona provided final approval to Scottsdale Community Bank effective Jan. 10. Arizona has only 10 community banks compared with 410 in Texas, 401 in Illinois, 144 in California and even 41 in Utah.
“Scottsdale Community Bank’s executive team and Board of Directors are thrilled to hold our grand opening, which has been years in the making,” George Weisz, Scottsdale Community Bank Board Chair, stated in the release. “We are changing the face of business banking in Arizona by combining cutting edge FINTECH technology with true relationship banking.”
Scottsdale Community Bank is locally-owned and locally managed, so it is uniquely able to provide both speed and service in its operations and decision-making.
While the bank can provide service anywhere in Arizona, its primary market area stretches from the thriving businesses in the Scottsdale Airpark on the north to family offices in Paradise Valley, to the many medical entities along our “Cure Corridor” and even Old Town Scottsdale and its shopping and arts/entertainment district.
Scottsdale Community Bank’s grand opening is set for May 18 at 5:30 p.m. at 8767 E. Via de Ventura, Suite 190.
