Teens in Queen Creek still have time to sign up for the Mayor's Teen Advisory Committee. The program will launch in the fall.

Teens can still sign up for mayor’s advisory committee

Teens in Queen Creek still have time to sign up for the Mayor's Teen Advisory Committee. The program will launch in the fall.

To participate, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between 14 and 18 years of age and/or in grades 9-12
  • Be a Queen Creek resident
  • Submit an application of interest
  • Agree to participate in a variety of activities, including monthly group meetings

“As MTAC members, (teens) won't just meet to discuss current issues among Queen Creek's youth; but they'll collaborate with our town council and community to develop solutions and create engagement among the youth in our town,” Queen Creek’s website states.

The deadline to apply is Monday, July 22. The application can be filled out at QueenCreekAZ.gov/Teens.
