Splash pad at Founders’ Park to open March 1
Splash pad at Mansel Carter Oasis Park opening delayed due to warranty work
Posted
The splash pad at Founders’ Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road in Queen Creek, will open for the season on March 1.
The splash pad at Mansel Carter Oasis Park, 19535 E. Appleby Road in Queen Creek, is anticipated to open March 29; the delayed opening is a result of warranty work that is being completed, according to a release.
The construction involves installation of a vapor barrier between the concrete and rubberized surface and replacing the rubberized surface, including seal application. These enhancements will extend the life of the popular amenity and are all covered by warranty, which means there is no cost to the town, the release states.
