Work under way on new Phoenix Roosevelt Row apartment complex

Rainbow Road project expected to be completed in 2025

Work is under way on Rainbow Road, the latest development on Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix.

Designed by Libeskind Studio Design and developed by Intersection Development, the building will offer 36 luxury apartments with units that focus on aspects like noise reduction and optimal lighting. The project has added an updated exterior, an additional floor, and amenities that focus on creating a sanctuary tailored for health, wellness, and digital convenience.

Construction on Rainbow Road will finish in early 2025.

One of the updates in Rainbow Road's design is its new black exterior, which is designed to honor designs that take place in the arts district. This choice enhances the contrast with colorful decorative window insets for visual impact, a press release notes.

The addition of another floor will allow the building’s entire first floor to be dedicated to public-facing endeavors to foster greater community engagement.

“We’re thrilled to break ground on Rainbow Road, which we see as a tribute to the dynamism of urban life,” Zac Cohen, Intersection Development partner, stated. “Our hope is that Rainbow Road becomes a place where every corner is infused with creativity and every space is an opportunity for connection and inspiration.”
