Police identify victims in fatal Phoenix crash

The two people who died after a July 26 crash have been identified, Phoenix police said Thursday.

Jazmine Day, 21, and Akiyah Stallings, 22, were killed following the single-vehicle collision near 12800 North 35th Avenue, police said.

The fiery crash occurred just after 6 a.m. July 26. One of the victims was found inside the car and pronounced dead. The other died at a hospital, police said.
