Madison Rose Lane Elementary School in Phoenix just landed on the map.

The school —located at 1155 E. Rose Lane — was named a school of the year by Discovery Education, a press release stated.

The announcement recognized the school's leader — Principal Mr. Andre' Reyes as part of the honor.

The Phoenix school was one of two schools nationwide who were given the   'School of the Year' designation for 2023-24. The other school is Franklin Regional Intermediate School of  Murrysville, Penn, the announcement said.

Award categories ranged from from districts of the year to educators of the year, the announcement stated.

“The districts, schools, and educators we honor today with the Discovery Education Awards share this goal and go above and beyond the call of duty to nurture student curiosity and drive the academic success of all learners,” said Jeremy Cowdrey, CEO of Discovery Education. “Congratulations to all who participated in this inaugural event. Discovery Education is proud to be your collaborative partner as you work to capture students’ attention, inspire exploration, and achieve ambitious learning goals.”

Discovery Education is the "worldwide edtech leader whose state-of-the-art digital solutions learning wherever it takes" place, the press release stated.
