Joe Ducey has been appointed associate vice president of public engagement and investigative outreach of Better Business Bureau Pacific Southwest (BBB).

Ducey had a distinguished career as an investigative journalist spanning over two decades. Over the past decade he headed the 25-person Let Joe Know/BBB volunteer team while at ABC 15 in Phoenix where he helped thousands of Arizonans save, or recoup, millions of dollars.

Ducey has been honored with a Peabody Award, National Investigative Emmy, regional Edward R. Murrow, and multiple Emmys.

In his new role, he will spotlight businesses for their ethical conduct, offer guidance on essential factors consumers should consider when selecting trustworthy companies, and provide purchasing advice. He will also amplify discussions on business and consumer trends through a BBB podcast, interviews, and local engagement with integrity-driven enterprises.

Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest is located at 1010 E. Missouri Ave., in Phoenix.
