Great Hearts Academies in Arizona is looking to hire 350 teachers, nurses, admin, substitute teachers and support staff to help the expanding network of tuition-free nonprofit public charter academies.
Headmasters and representatives from schools all over the Valley will be on the Phoenix campus to conduct on-site interviews. Great Hearts has schools in Anthem, Peoria, Chandler, Gilbert, Arcadia, North Phoenix, Goodyear, Maryvale, Scottsdale, and Buckeye.
The hiring event goes from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, 14100 N. 32nd St.
While Great Hearts welcomes candidates with teaching certificates, you do not need a teaching certification to apply for general education faculty positions. Great Hearts does require that Special Education and ELL teachers are certified.
