The Gila River Police Department and the FBI’s Phoenix Field Office are investigating a stabbing that occurred this weekend in the parking lot of the Wild Horse Pass Casino.

According to authorities, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 30, a man who had been loitering in parking lot attacked a 31-year-old Phoenix woman after she parked in the lot and got out of her vehicle.

The woman was stabbed several times with an unknown object and is recovering in a Phoenix-area hospital, officials said.

Following the stabbing, the man got back into a white crew cab pickup truck and drove off.

Officials said the pickup did not have license plates but does have a "distinctive appearance with a brush guard, light tint on the front windows, dark tint on the rear windows and damage to the right rear quarter panel."

The truck is also missing the tailgate.

If anyone has any information about this truck, or the individual who drives it, call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or email tips and information to tips.fbi.gov.
