The Deer Valley Unified School District governing board will have its next meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the district offices, 20402 N. 15th Ave., Phoenix.
This meeting's agenda includes the following highlights:
The board will receive its first preview of the recommended proposed fiscal year 2025 employee benefit plan. DVUSD's 2024-25 renewal rate for the employee benefit medical plan is 6.97%, or $1.8 million. More details will be provided at the meeting.
The board will examine all recommended employee professional development out-of-state trave; and determine whether to approve or disapprove.
Then the board will dicsuss and vote on recommended contractlLanguage for administrative/exempt, certified employees and the deputy superintendent for the 2024-25 school year.
This meeting will include a preview of the scheduled board meeting events for the 2024-25 school year.

The public wwill have a chance to speak on items not on the agenda after the preview of the fiscal year benefits. Speakers on topics listed on the agenda can fill out a card and will speak during the presentation of that item.
