Be Well Health, a new sexual health clinic, will deliver judgment-free, on-demand health care through its first in-store clinic at a Phoenix-area Walgreens.
With a special focus on health needs within the LGBTQIA+ community, Be Well Health will provide an open environment to address health care needs for all demographics, including sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, preventive services, PrEP and PEP, HIV testing and treatment, Hepatitis C testing and treatment, and counseling and education services.
The Walgreens is located at 3402 N. Central Ave., at the corner of Central and Osborn Road, starting Tuesday, Feb. 6.
Patients will have access to quality care by walking in or making an appointment at www.bewellhealthaz.com.
Since opening their Be Well Family Care practice November 2019 in Tempe, co-founders Micaela Simon and Julia Kieffer have specialized in the care of the LGBTQIA+ community. Their purpose is to foster an open atmosphere of health and understanding where patients can get quick access to all healthcare needs.
“The care of our community starts with the treatment and prevention of some of the hardest-to-discuss healthcare topics,” Simon shared in a press release. “Our goal is to help our patients understand that there is no such thing as ‘taboo’ within the walls of Be Well Health. By collaborating with Walgreens, we aim to make this care as accessible as possible.”
The new Be Well Health at Walgreens will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, and closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
