The West Valley Art Museum Gallery will reopen to the public next month.
The gallery, located in Peoria City Hall, 8401 W. Monroe St., announced Sept. 16 that it plans to reopen Monday, Oct. 5. More details on reopening plans will come later in September.
Upon reopening, the gallery will features its third installment of the continuing “Treasures of the West Valley” art series, which features a variety of rare two- and three-dimensional art treasures from all over the world on loan from homes of West Valley civic leaders and private collectors for a limited time.
In the meantime during the pandemic, the West Valley Art Museum has partnered with TheaterWorks to provide support for original musical aspects of the current in-person interactive experience “Curiouser & Curiouser.” That production is currently showing at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, 10580 N. 83rd Drive, through Sunday, Oct. 18.
