Survey: Teens use cell phones while driving despite the risk

Survey: 9 of 10 teens admit to this

In a recent survey conducted by State Farm, 9 of 10 teens admitted to using their phone while driving, even though many find it distracting and more likely to cause a crash.

The online survey highlighted some dangerous attitudes and behaviors of teenagers behind the wheel.

The study also found teens who have been in an accident have a higher tendency to use their phone when behind the wheel and that teens driving cars with advanced safety features makes them more comfortable using their phone and taking their eyes off the road.
