Peoria water bills will get hike starting next year

2%-3% annual increase over next 5 years

Due to a number of water and wastewater cost drivers, Peoria residents and businesses should expect an increase in their overall water bill, beginning January 2022.

However, officials say it will be incremental.

CFO Sonia Andrews said the city will continue its 2%-3% annual increase over the next five years, based on a study commissioned by the city.
