Peoria Unified school board votes to keep in-person learning

Rules will remain the same next semester

There will be no change in the status of instruction when Peoria Unified School District students return to class after winter break.

The PUSD governing board voted to open schools fully to in-person instruction with a virtual option, on Jan. 4, as it is currently.

A number of parents spoke in favor of keeping in-person instruction, while the school board worked through different options on how to approach the new year at a public meeting, Dec. 10.
