Jeovanni James has been honored with the title of "Male Teen Model of the Year" at Francisco Adame Dance Arts, & Modeling Academy Arizona Fashion Week.

This prestigious accolade recognizes James' exceptional talent and versatility in the modeling world, underscoring his impressive debut on the runway, stated a news release.

During this year’s Fashion Week, James, a Peoria Unified student, had the opportunity to showcase his modeling skills on the runway for four renowned brands, marking a significant expansion from his previous print work experience.

“Exploring runway modeling was an exciting new challenge for me,” James said. “Winning ‘Teen Male Model of the Year’ is not only an incredible honor but also a wonderful blessing. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow in this new area of modeling.”

James is a junior at Ironwood High School, where he stands out as both a leader and athlete. He has served as STUCO Class President for each year of high school, demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment. As a standout player on the Ironwood High School basketball team, Jeovanni excels on the court, further adding to his achievements.

In addition to his academic and athletic pursuits, James is deeply involved in his community. He volunteers as a mentor for youth at his church, providing guidance and support to younger generations. His skills in being front and center were evident early on, with James winning first place three times in the Peoria Unified Patriotic Speech competition during his middle school years at Sahuaro Ranch Elementary School.

Raised in Peoria his entire life, James has a deep appreciation for his city, his school district, and his family. His mother, Stephanie James, reflects on his accomplishments.

“Jeovanni has shown remarkable gifts in so many areas since he was a young child. His success in modeling and beyond is a testament to his hard work and dedication,” she said.
