Peoria Police seek assistance in locating endangered female

Peoria Police seek the public’s help in locating Shrell Whitfield, a 43-year-old female.
She is described as a black female, 5’4”, 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Whitfield was last seen wearing a gray jacket, white hooded sweatshirt, yellow shirt, and gray sweatpants.
Whitfield was last seen March 24 at about 3 p.m., when she left a residential facility without permission near the area of 93rd and Olive avenues. She left on foot and according to staff members she has several medical conditions that require medication. Whitfield did not take her medication with her when she left.
Officers have been actively looking for Whitfield but have not been able to locate her. It is unclear where she may have gone. Whitfield does not have a cell phone with her.
