Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant, 8708 W. Harbor Blvd., Peoria, will host drive-in movies three times a week Thursday, Friday and Saturday in May and June. Movies begin 8 p.m., and each night will feature a different theme: Thursday, “Kids Night”; Friday, “Date Night” and Saturday, “New Release Night.”

The first showing is Thursday, May 7 with “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.”

Drive-in movies provide an outlet for many residents seeking safe and affordable entertainment opportunities. The 24-foot by 40-foot digital high definition screen is a first in Arizona.

“These movies are a unique and fun opportunity to once again seek entertainment options outside your home,” Pleasant Harbor events director Deneen Ramirez stated in a news release.

Tickets are $22 per vehicle and must be purchased online at www.digitaldriveinaz.com. No cash will be accepted at the gate. Additionally, the Pleasant Harbor gate entry fee of $7 does apply.

In order to follow CDC guidelines, each vehicle will be spaced approximately 10 feet apart. No walk ups or group parking allowed.

Visit www.digitaldriveinaz.com for the schedule of weekly movies.
